Patch to enable software update
If your server runs YACS 6.6, and if you have not been able to move to a more recent version, then try this patch.
YACS features a sophisticated mechanism to support easy updates, and this has been available for about two years. However, on version 6.6, this mechanism has been broken at some sites.
The patch provided on this page is aiming to circumvent this issue, and to allow for easy update to YACS 7.1.
Step 2 - Upload this script to your server, and overwrite
Step 3 - Start the upgrade as usual, as described in How to achieve incremental upgrades of a YACS server?.
