YACS version 6..9

YACS version 6.9 (aka, the 'safe version') has been released. A number of features have been added over last three months, most notably:

• full support of PHP4/MySQL4 and PHP5/MySQL5

• the introduction of an abstraction layer between YACS and PHP, to achieve safer interactions with the run-time

• wikis can be anonymous and public, restricted to the community, or reserved to a small workgroup of peers

• a navigation menu automatically helps surfers to browse the content tree

• the nicetitle Javascript has been added to enhance information provided to surfers

• APIs for software professionals now include hooks (included on triggers), overlay (to add structured data to articles) and behaviors (to add intelligence to sections)

YACS 6.9 est disponible. Cette version est particulièrement sûre, et les fonctionnalités proposées consolident le travail effectué depuis trois mois :

• support des versions 4 et 5 de PHP et de MySQL

• introduction d'une interface entre YACS et PHP afin de mieux maîtriser les interactions avec l'environnement d'exécution

• les wikis peuvent être publics et anonymes, ou restreints à la communauté, ou réservés à un petit groupe

• un menu de navigation automatique aide les surfeurs à parcourir l'arborescence de contenu

• la librairie Javascript nicetitle a été ajoutée pour fournir plus d'information aux surfeurs pendant la navigation

• trois niveaux d'interface programmatique sont proposés aux dévelopeurs professionnels
